Police Chase Ends in Standoff and Closure of I-15

(TOCQUERVILLE, Utah) -- An Interstate 15 chase ended in a standoff with the Utah Highway patrol on Monday, ABC News Salt Lake City affiliate KTVX-TV reports.

The chase originated on State Road 17 near the Toquerville city cemetery around 11 a.m. and came to a halt hours later on Southbound I-15 at milepost 17.

Utah Highway Patrol used a spike strip to deflate the suspect’s tires.

Gas Up Four Cents to National Average of $3.48 per Gallon

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(WASHINGTON) -- The average price of a gallon of gasoline rose four cents in the past week to a national average price of $3.48, the U.S. Department of Energy said Monday.

The price of a gallon of gas is up 35 cents from a year ago.
